    Abstract:

    The anatase TiO2 photocatalysts were synthesized by using the sol-gel method with the tetrabutyl titanate as a precursor after the sol was adjusted to a desired pH value. And the structuresof theobtained TiO2photocatalystswere investigated by using X-ray diffraction (XRD). The photocatalytic activities of the typical anatase-type TiO2photocatalysts were investigated by degrading the methyl orange. The experimental results show that the anatase-type TiO2 photocatalyst obtained at the value of pH = 5.0 exhibit the higher photocatalytic activity.
