    • Directed transport and stochastic resonance in centralized coupled Brownian motors with stochastic interactions

      2018, 55(4):661-666.

      Abstract (1038) HTML (0) PDF 3.13 M (1078) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:In some physical or biological environments, the surrounding medium contains many particles of the same kind as coupled Brownian particles capable of not only decoupling from the original coupled system but also adhering to each other and recoupling a larger system. Thus a mathematical model is proposed based on Langevin equations (LEs) to characterize the random interactions with fluctuating number of Brownian particles in the centralized coupled system. By the system simulations, the effects of interacting parameters, ratchet asymmetry and noisy intensity on collective transport behaviors are investigated, and some phenomena, such as cooperative behaviors, stochastic resonance (SR) and generalized SR, are observed.

    • Stochastic multi-resonance in a cancer growth system with non-Gaussian noise

      2018, 55(4):667-672.

      Abstract (1268) HTML (0) PDF 654.23 K (415) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:Stochastic resonance and stochastic multi-resonance of a cancer growth model modulated by non-Gaussian noise and Gaussian noise are investigated in terms of the path integral approach and the adiabatic limit. The expression of signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) is obtained. The numerical results indicate that the SNR exhibits stochastic multi-resonance behavior when the SNR is a function of the multiplicative noise intensity, additive noise intensity, or the parameter of the non-Gaussian noise q. Meanwhile, it is also shown that the cross-correlation intensity and the self-correlation time can enhance the phenomenon of stochastic resonance.

      2018, 55(4):678-682.

      Abstract (788) HTML (0) PDF 416.67 K (278) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:In this paper we consider the bifurcation of nonhyperbolic limit cycles in a class of piecewise smooth planar systems with two zones. We assume that the unperturbed system has a nonhyperbolic limit cycle that crosses every switching line transversally exactly once. By using the Diliberto theorem and variation lemma we derive the Poincare map. Then we discuss the stability and bifurcation of the limit cycle.

    • Resonance of an over-damped generalized Langevin equation driven by Ornstein-Uhlenbeck noise

      2018, 55(4):698-704.

      Abstract (1012) HTML (0) PDF 1.71 M (353) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:We explore the resonant behavior occurring in an over-damped linear generalized Langevin equation subject to a periodic force. We model the internal noise as an Ornstein-Uhlenbeck noise. The influence of fluctuations of environmental parameter on the system is modeled by a dichotomous noise. Using the stochastic average method and integral transform, we get the exact expressions of the steady-state first moment and amplitude. By studying the impacts of the noise parameters, driving frequency and system parameters, we find that the non-monotonic behaviors of the steady-state output amplitude indicate a lot of resonant behaviors and stochastic resonance (SR) in the wide sense.

      Abstract (903) HTML (0) PDF 1012.69 K (382) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:In view of the matching problem of flame pressure wave and velocity with the structure of fire arrester in the process of methane detonation, the authors conducted simulation study to analyses the relationship between the structural change of flame arrester housing and the pressure and speed of flame in the pipeline. During the simulation progress, two-dimensional geometric models and mesh models were built for different sizes of fire arrester shell structure. The RNC k-e turbulence model and the general finite rate combustion model were applied to simulate the detonation process of combustible gas in the coal tube by FLUENT software. We tried to understand the change law of the inner diameter of the flame arrester shell, the porosity of the flame arrester and the pressure and velocity of the detonation flame by analyzing the law of flame velocity and pressure in the flame arrester. The results provide us with an accurate reference for the design and selection of the pipe detonation arrester.

      2018, 55(4):712-718.

      Abstract (803) HTML (0) PDF 978.45 K (517) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:In order to improve the transmission reliability of wireless sensor network (WSN), a new kind of transmission strategy is proposed. Based on multipath and network coding, braided multipath to sink node are established for source node. The strategy encodes the packets at source node and transmits encoded packets on the established paths. Intermediate node is responsible for forwarding received packets. If intermediate node is a cluster head, it will recode the received packets and then transmit the encoded packets. Analyze, compute and simulate transmission reliability and energy consumption of WSN with the proposed strategy. Simulation results show that the strategy can improve transmission reliability and energy efficiency of WSN when compared with traditional multi path method.

      Abstract (1037) HTML (0) PDF 2.83 M (419) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:Listening to music is helpful in relieving the pressure of people, and has become a major entertainment for the general public. The development of the Internet makes it convenient for people to listen to music, but it also makes the problem of “information overload”more and more serious. Although many internet companies have launched music recommendation system to solve the problem, the existing recommendation systems cannot guarantee good user experience. As a result, there is still a populardemand for precise recommendation for music. In order to solve the problem of “information overload” and guarantee good user experience atthe same time, this paper presents a reward value algorithm based on state transition.Specifically, the user preference model is first built; then, the music popularity and user conformity is proposed based on user data; finally, the reward function is defined based on user preference, music popularity and state transition probability. The proposed algorithm can individually screen and classify the data from the music library. In the algorithm, the DaviesBouldin exponent is used to discretize vocal characteristicswhen processing data; the algorithm based on list distance minimization is used to select parameters during the model training. The experiments are conducted on the Million Song Dataset , and the results show that the music popularity has certain influence on the recommendation effect of the algorithm. The recommendation algorithm proposed in this paper can improve the performanceof recommendation, which proves the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.

      Abstract (780) HTML (0) PDF 7.05 M (595) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:In this paper, a thin circular polarization rectenna for near space aerocrafts is designed. Since aerocrafts are generally limited in load and moving continuously, the rectenna should have the characteristics of circular polarization, light weight, small volume, low profile, and is easy to be conformed to the surface of aerocrafts. The rectenna designed in this paper works at 5.8 GHz and is fed by coplanar waveguide (CPW), which has a wide bandwidth. The rectifier circuit adopts series diode form, and uses CPW lowpass filter for DC filtering without using any lumped elements. The designed rectenna, which only weighs 1.98 g, has a compact structure and a 0.5 mm thick profile, and the optimum rectification efficiency is 71.22%. The test results are in good agreement with the simulation results, which verifies the feasibility of the design.

      Abstract (961) HTML (0) PDF 4.01 M (382) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:The geometrical structures of lower energies LinPb(n=7-9) binary clusters have been investigated through B3LYP method of density functional theory where the basis set includes the all electrons 6-311++g(d, p) to lithium atom and relativistic effective core potentials to lead atom. Simultaneously, we have been studied the chemical bond and stability of the lowest energy structures. The investigation suggest that the chemical bond between the impurity lead atom and lithium atoms is covalent bond, bonding valence electron-pair tend to lead atom. The energy gap between the highest occupied molecular orbital(HOMO) and the lowest unoccupied molecular orbital(LUMO) of Li8Pb cluster’s ground state configuration is larger than LinPb(n=7 and 9) clusters’. In addition, based on the atomization energy per atom, vertical ionization energy and vertical electron affinity calculations, Li8Pb cluster’s ground state configuration is the most stable one.

Abstract:Gamma-ray burst (GRB) is one of the most explosive phenomena in the universe, the mass dominated dynamics of both forward and reverse shock evolution process is already well studied. Observations indicate that the jet from GRB may be magnetized, and the dynamics of the forward-reverse shocks produced by interactions between the jet and the interstellar medium will have new features once the jet was magnetized. Zhang & Kobayashi had derived a analytic solution of the dynamics based on the ideal MHD condition. This article derives a set of general dynamics equations with some related numerical calculations.

Abstract:We present a detailed theoretical study for the structural and electronic properties of the new synthesized hard material CrB4 under pressure ranging from 0 GPa to 100 GPa by first-principles calculations with density functional theory in this paper. The results at zero pressure are in good agreement with the available theoretical and experimental values. The pressure dependence of structure, bond length , the Mulliken overlap population of B–B bonds and Cr–B bond, density of states (DOS) and PDOS are successfully calculated and discussed. The calculated pressure dependence of structural property shows that both structural parameters and covalent bonds of CrB4 are insensitive to the pressure, the results strongly support that the high hardness of CrB4 compounds is derived from the feature of B–B bonds cage.

    • Effects of Deformation and Non - harmonic Vibration on Effective Charge, Thermal Expansion and Elastic Modulus of SiC

      2018, 55(4):781-787.

      Abstract (587) HTML (0) PDF 1.31 M (269) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:On the consideration of the deformation and atomic non-harmonic vibration, this paper applies the methods of Harrison bonding orbit and solid state physics to obtain thermal expansion coefficient and elastic modulus of hexagonal two-dimensional graphene compounds, and analytical formula of effective charge. Take SiC as an example, the paper discusses the effect of deformation and atomic non-harmonic vibration on SiC. The result shows that thermal expansion coefficient and elastic modulus of SiC enlarges slowly with increasing temperature, the thermal expansion coefficient and elastic modulus of SiC would be zero if not considering non-harmonic term, therefore, thermal expansion coefficient and elastic modulus enlarge with the increase of temperature is caused by non-harmonic effect. The deformation reduces the effective charge of SiC’s positive and negative ions by 14.5% and 8.56% respectively. The effect of deformation on positive ions is greater than negative ions. Among the deformations of size, shear, axial tensile and atomic vibrations, axial tensile deformation has the greatest effect on effective charge, while size deformation and shearing deformation has the smallest influence. When temperature increases, atomic non-harmonic vibration effect is presented more obvious, the deformation exerts greater influence on SiC polarity and effective charge.

Abstract:Activated carbon was used as the pore forming agent to prepare ceramic foams on which NiCl2 was loaded by impregnation, followed by reaction with NaClO and NaOH mixed solution to generate NiOOH catalyst. Methylene blue was employed as the sewage simulacrum, and the catalytic performance of NiOOH catalyst was measured by fading time of methylene blue. The dosages of catalyst and sodium hypochlorite, pH, and temperature were used as variables to explore the influences on catalytic effect of sewage treatment and determine the optimal combination conditions by the single factor and orthogonal test, respectively. The results indicate that the complete fading time of methylene blue is 131 min when the temperature, pH, dosages of catalyst and NaClO are 55 oC, 8, 1.0 g and 15.0 mL, respectively. Sequence of significant effect of factors on fading time of methylene blue is temperature > dosage of catalyst > pH >dosage of NaClO. The optimal practical combination conditions for sewage treatment are confirmed as that the temperature, pH value, and the dosages of catalyst and NaClO are 35 oC, 8, 1.0 g, and 15.0 mL, respectively.

      Abstract (576) HTML (0) PDF 2.43 M (326) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:The technology of DESO2 from flue gas by PPCP(Pulse Corona Induced Plasma Chemical Process) had obvious advantages, but the method could make the positive ions and electrons leave the streamer channels, the range of complex reaction be not big enough, the free radicals be not widely distributed, which was difficult to produce a stable, wide range and effective streamer. It had a bad influence in DESO2 from flue gas and decreased the efficiency of DESO2 seriously. In the paper, the technology of inspiring streamer discharge plasma by DC superimposed high voltage pulse power supply was presented and the mechanism of streamer discharge plasma desulfurization was analyzed. The mechanism of DESO2 was also used to develop pulse power which could do DESO2 from flue gas. Through the field operation test, it showed that the technical scheme of high voltage pulse superimposed on the DC high voltage can improve the efficiency of DESO2 effectively.

Abstract:The degradation of acetaminophen with non-radical based reactive oxidants generated by chloride activated peroxymonosulfate system was investigated. The performance of PMS/Cl- system was also compared with traditional NaClO system in respect of oxidant dosage, pollutant concentration and pH values. Results showed that pseudo-zero-order kinetic model is more suitable to describe the degradation of acetaminophen in PMS/Cl- system nevertheless pseudo-first-order kinetics model is more suitable to NaClO system. A maximum removal of 76.7% was achieved in 120 min when m(APAP)0 was 10 mg/L, [PMS]0 was 0.4 mM and [Cl]0 was 50 mM. In either PMS/Cl- or NaClO system, higher oxidant dosage, lower acetaminophen concentration and lower pH favored removal efficiency. HClO was the main oxidant responsible for organic pollutant removal in both PMS/Cl- and NaClO system, while the HClO was produced more slowly in PMS/Cl- system. In the future, chloride anions would be an alternative choice for elimination of residual oxidant and continuously disinfection in PMS based oxidation processes.

And then the H2Ti4O9 was mixed with the triethanolamine (TEAOH) to obtain the TEA+-intercalated tetratitanate compound. Finally, the TEA+-intercalated tetratitanate compound was dispersed in massive amounts of distilled water to obtain the [Ti4O9]2ˉ nanosheets. The structures and morphologies of the ZnTiO3/TiO2 composite photocatalysts were investigated by using X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron diffraction microscopy (SEM). Furthermore, the photocatalytic activities of the synthesized ZnTiO3/TiO2 composite photocatalysts were also characterized. The experimental results revealed that the ZnTiO3/TiO2 composite photocatalyst obtained at the value of pH = 7.0 exhibits the higher photocatalytic activity.

Abstract:In this experiment, 0, 20, 40, 60, 80 and 100 mL/L of Microcystis aeruginosa(FACHB 930, 107 cells/mL) were cocultured with Spirodela punctata(ZH0051, 400 g/m2) in Hoagland which was diluted five times. Experimental results showed that the growth rate and the antioxidant enzyme activities (SOD, APX and CAT) of Spirodela punctata and the microcystins in the culture medium increased first and decreased with the increase of inoculation volume of Microcystis aeruginosa. In contrast, the content of microcystins inSpirodela punctata decreased first and then increased, and the accumulation of starch in the Spirodela punctata had showed a gradual decline. When the inoculation of Microcystis aeruginosa was 20 mL/L, the growth rate of Spirodela punctata reached its maximum value (3.64 g/m2·d). When the inoclum size was between 60~80 mL/L, the Spirodela punctata was able to remove nitrogen and phosphorus efficiently from the culture medium. It’s showed that when the concentration of Microcystis aeruginosa in water was about 2.0×108 cells/L (the inoculation level was 20 mL/L),Spirodela punctata can achieve a maximum biomass, relatively high starch accumulation rate, and high quality of nitrogen and phosphorus removal rate, and can effectively inhibit the growth of Microcystis aeruginosa.

      2018, 55(4):860-864.

      Abstract (668) HTML (0) PDF 1.50 M (301) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:A previous report has revealed that AtHHR2 (At5g43200) played a positive regulatory role in Arabidopsis thaliana in salt stress, and its homologous gene AtHHR3 has interaction with DREB2C gene in yeast twohybrid test. In this study, in vitro and in vivo protein interaction assays and biochemical methods were used to further explore the functionality of AtHHR2. And Pulldown result validated the interaction between AtHHR2 and DREB2C in vitro. And the ubiquitination analysis demonstrated that AtHHR2 acted as an E3 ligase of DREB2C, further confirming the interaction between AtHHR2 and DREB2C. Furthermore, bimolecular fluorescence complementation assay results showed that AtHHR2 did have interaction with DREB2C in vivo. In summary, the AtHHR2 interacts with DREB2C and acts as an E3 ligase.

      Abstract (765) HTML (0) PDF 3.36 M (438) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:Genetic diversity of 46 strainswild Artocarpus nanchuanensis from seven areas of Chongqing was preliminary analyzed using inter-simple sequence repeat (ISSR) PCR molecular marker technology. The selected 12 pairs of UBC primers were used in this research, and a total of 117 DNA fragments were obtained, of which 113 were polymorphic fragments, and the percentage of polymorphic bands was 96.58%. The analysis by NTSYS pc2.1 software showed that the genetic similarity among Artocarpus nanchuanensis from the seven areas was ranged from 0.062~0.989, and the dendrogram was constructed through UPGMA method. The results revealed that these Artocarpus heterophyllus Lam. have a similar genetic background with obvious differences. These Artocarpus heterophyllus Lam. were obviously divided into four groups, and the cluster is in line with the similar geographical origin of materials, showing a certain regional distribution.

      Abstract (895) HTML (0) PDF 11.81 M (546) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:Based on field investigations, in the presentstudy, we analyzed the habitat distribution and its influence factors of Davidia involucrata (including Davidia involucrata var.vilmoriniana) in Liangshan Mountains by MaxEnt model. The results showed that, in the vertical direction, dove trees are mainly distributed at an altitude of 1500~2300 m,which is named as the mid mountain zones; in the horizontal direction, dove trees are mainly concentrated in Xiaoliang Mountains, which is located in the east of Liangshan Mountains. In the study area, the total distribution area of D. involucrate is 1832.446 km2, which includes the most suitable habitat (958.448 km2) and the sub suitable habitat (873.998 km2). The Jackknife Test and Limiting Factors Analysis indicated that temperature seasonality, altitude, min temperature of coldest month, precipitation of coldest quarter, Precipitation Seasonality and the distance to settlements have great contributions to the distribution of D. involucrate. So we suggests that the conservation of the habitat of Davidia involucrate population outside the reserve and the restoration of key connecting areas should be strengthened to promote the growth of Davidia involucrate population in the mountain and the connection of habitats.
